After nearly 6 weeks in Nepal, Nick Kalisz and Dutch Simpson successfully summited Lhotse with cameras in hand and returned home to provide immediate photo assets for the Future Light campaign roll out and video clips for commercial integration.
The best still images were published in some of the largest print publications in North America and shared online through several avenues. In the months following we conceived, edited and executed a 23-minute film that not only captures the monumental feat, but presents a compelling narrative that has resonated with millions of viewers.

THE NORTH FACE: LHOTSE
In 2018, The North Face tasked us to document the Lhotse ski expedition with Hilaree Nelson and Jim Morrison to capture the first attempt to ski Lhotse – the world’s 4th highest mountain. The mission was to follow the athletes to the summit, which is just under 28,000 feet, and capture video and photos for the worldwide product launch of Future Light, its brand new fabric technology.
